GÉANT at ICRI 2014
GÉANT will join over 600 international participants in Athens for ICRI 2014. The three day event commences on Wednesday 2 April and will include an exhibition of demonstrations and videos of international research infrastructure projects.
At the GÉANT booth visitors will see a compelling mix of graphics and video presentations to showcase the GÉANT network, services, innovation and benefits to users, Research Infrastructure’s and the contribution to Europe’s societal challenges and competitiveness.
GÉANT plans to use video footage that demonstrates how the project interacts globally with other projects, researchers, users and industry.
Through showcasing the research projects of its users and its networking technologies, award-winning GÉANT will demonstrate its pioneering network, innovations and services and its impact across Europe.
Representatives of GÉANT will be on hand to talk to delegates about its work.
On Thursday 3 April DANTE General Manager Niels Hersoug, will speak as part of Thematic Sessions, Part 1 on E-infrastructures and Sustainability and Business Models. The session will be chaired by Vasilis Maglaris, Professor, National Technical University of Athens (NTUA), Greece.
