MOTEMulti-Domain OpenFlow Topology Exchange |
| |
Participants:Universiteit van Amsterdam; SURFsara Objective:To allow users to create and tune end-to-end network connections that cross many OpenFlow domains. Approach:MOTE will research multi-domain topology descriptions supporting network provisioning for Software Defined Networking (SDN) technologies. In particular, it will bridge the intra-domain operations of OpenFlow with the inter-domain provisioning in the Network Service Interface (NSI) Framework. The methods for describing and exchanging topology descriptions will allow users to create and tune end-to-end network connections, even those crossing many OpenFlow domains. Impact:Results of the MOTE project will represent a step to bringing affordable high-speed access to ICT services for large user communities across a variety of social areas, (e.g. entertainment, education). This in turn will increase usage of these services and improve quality of life. Deliverable:To view the final report of this Open Call project visit the resources library. |
